About the role

Remote, part-time physician role focused on AI-assisted asynchronous virtual care across acute, primary, and longevity medicine.

Responsibilities

  • See patients across acute, primary, and longevity care over messages: diagnose, treat, triage, follow up
  • Practice with Counsel's AI prepped history and messages; apply clinical judgment
  • Maintain high standards of clinical reasoning, safety, and patient communication
  • Stay generalist and navigate patients to appropriate next steps within the healthcare system
  • Collaborate with CMO and VP of Care Delivery on guidelines, peer review, and clinical systems
  • Mentor newer clinicians and share effective practices
  • Shape the tools and workflows used in practice, provide feedback to technologists

Qualifications

  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
  • Member of the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) and hold an IMLC Letter of Qualification
  • 3+ years of post-residency clinical experience (urgent care, ER, primary care, or strong generalist mix)
  • Genuine interest in acute, primary, and longevity care
  • Comfort working in a fully virtual, asynchronous, messaging-based modality
  • Strong written communication skills
