About the role

Production Support Engineer role bridging Engineering and Customer Experience to diagnose and resolve issues across the platform, interfacing with vendors, automating processes, and contributing to operational improvements using AI.

Responsibilities

  • Use AI to identify and implement operational improvements and efficiencies to build the future of Production Support
  • Investigate and resolve complex production issues that affects user experience
  • Interface with critical vendor systems using a mix of SQL and API calls to research a customer complaints
  • Commit fixes to our backend systems
  • Act as an engineering consultant for our Operations team to automate manual processes

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of engineering experience with proficiency in at least one backend language
  • Experience with SQL and REST APIs
  • Excellent written communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
  • Knowledge of payment systems (e.g. card processing, ACH), familiarity with AWS, and shell scripting experience with bash, zsh or similar preferred
