About the role

ASIC Design Verification Engineer responsible for verifying complex IP blocks and subsystems for AI, camera, display, and AR applications in an on-site role in Paris, France or Eindhoven, Netherlands.

Responsibilities

  • Own verification of complex IP blocks and subsystems from specification through sign-off.
  • Build and maintain UVM/SystemVerilog verification environments.
  • Develop constrained-random tests, coverage plans, assertions, and verification strategies.
  • Drive functional and code coverage to closure.
  • Partner closely with design, architecture, firmware, and other engineering teams to refine requirements and debug issues.
  • Improve verification methodologies, tools, automation, and workflows across the team.
  • Explore practical ways to use AI-assisted tools to improve verification productivity and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in ASIC or SoC design verification.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SystemVerilog, UVM, constrained-random verification, and coverage-driven verification.
  • Experience building UVM verification environments from the ground up.
  • Strong understanding of RTL and digital design fundamentals.
  • Experience with AI/ML accelerators or NPUs, Image or video processing pipelines, Camera or display IP, MIPI or related high-speed peripheral interfaces, Custom silicon architectures.
  • Familiarity with modern simulation and debug tools, ideally including Synopsys front-end tools.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD-based development workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable taking ownership and working independently in a fast-moving engineering environment.
