About the role

We're a product-first team on a mission to raise the cybersecurity posture of every company in the world. Riot builds Awareness (chat-based, 4-minute courses), plus Studio, Simulation, Inbox, Sonar, and Slash to improve employee security.

Responsibilities

  • Ship new Awareness features end-to-end
  • Build robust systems that serve millions of learners and thousands of admin users reliably.
  • Organize the backend code base and shape the standards the team follows.
  • Research, pitch, and prototype solutions to hard problems

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience building backend applications in production
  • Comfortable working professionally with SQL and relational data modeling
  • Already using AI coding tools seriously
  • Team player, eager to give feedback and learn
  • Ability to prioritize to ship on time, speed of execution is key, without compromising quality
  • Motivated by the cybersecurity mission (not required to be a cybersecurity expert)
  • Elixir/Phoenix experience is a plus, not a requirement
  • Based in Paris or willing to relocate
