About the role

Emergent is an AI app builder building autonomous coding agents. The role is to own end-to-end product design for key parts of the Emergent platform, turning complex workflows into intuitive experiences, and collaborating with engineers and product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end product design for key parts of the Emergent platform
  • Turn complex workflows into clear, intuitive experiences
  • Work closely with engineers and product to ship fast, high-quality features
  • Design flows, interactions, and UI with strong attention to detail
  • Contribute to product thinking and not just execution
  • Help evolve patterns and systems as the product grows

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience designing and shipping digital products
  • Strong interaction and visual design fundamentals
  • Comfort working on technical or complex products (you don't need to code, but you should enjoy collaborating with engineers)
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and make good decisions with incomplete information
  • Clear communication and strong product intuition
  • High ownership mindset, you care deeply about what ships
