About the role

Senior full-stack engineer role building a new product leveraging Aircall's voice and AI capabilities. Early team member with ownership over technical direction, contributing to frontend (React) and backend (Node.js, TypeScript) development in a hybrid Madrid-based office.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Have key responsibilities within the design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of features across the full stack
  • Build and maintain frontend interfaces with React and backend services with Node.js and TypeScript
  • Write clean scalable code and test and deploy applications and systems
  • Revise, update, refactor, and debug code
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge
  • Be part of an engineering organization delivering high quality, secure, voice solutions to Aircall clients
  • Involvement in product and platform performance optimization and live site monitoring
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical system issues and ensure continuous system reliability
  • Security is at the forefront of your mind in everything that you do

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in full-stack development
  • Experience with AWS services and cloud-based architectures
  • Deep understanding of software development practices, scalable system architecture, security best practices and cloud-based platforms
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot complex issues
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you thrive working closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities
  • Fluency in English is required; Spanish is a plus
