About the role

Senior Customer Engineer role focusing on technical go-to-market, enterprise architecture, and customer adoption across Cloudflare's Central & Eastern Europe market, with Hebrew-speaking requirement. Hybrid locations in Amsterdam or London.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Validation: lead technical deep-dive discovery with Account Executives, map customer infrastructure (DNS, CDN, Zero Trust, Network Security, Workers) to Cloudflare architectures, define PoCs/Technical Validations, deliver tailored presentations and diagrams, address objections, determine deployment strategy.

Qualifications

  • 8 - 12 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Professional Services, Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Forward Deployed Engineer)
  • Architectural mindset to white-board and design complex enterprise network and security architectures
  • Consultative & advisory skills with ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes for engineers and C-level executives
  • Commercial mindset with proven track record in quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environments; understanding SaaS metrics and enterprise sales cycles
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; bridge deep technical details with high-level strategy
  • Technical breadth in at least four of: Internet fundamentals (OSI, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, BGP, etc.), Security (WAF, Bot Management, Zero Trust, SASE), Performance (caching, TLS, HTTP/2), AI proficiency (prompt engineering, LLMs, automation), Coding/Scripting (Python, JavaScript, Bash, Lua, Go), Developer Platform Fluency (REST/GraphQL, APIs, Terraform/Pulumi, CI/CD, observability)
