About the role

Director level role responsible for design, scaling, and reliability of Neko Health’s core infrastructure, delivering an AI-first platform with resilience and regional scaling to support health and member data and enable rapid product deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a scalable, secure infrastructure platform on Azure supporting health and member data
  • Enable significantly faster product deployment cycles through platform improvements
  • Increase system reliability and reduce operational incidents affecting clinics
  • Build and scale a high-performance platform engineering team (10-15 engineers initially)
  • Define long-term platform strategy in close partnership with Product and Data

Qualifications

  • Proven experience building and scaling large-scale infrastructure systems
  • Experience building infrastructure as a platform (PaaS mindset) or SRE-level systems
  • Strong hands-on engineering background; ability to code and design systems
  • Experience scaling infrastructure across regions
  • Experience using AI tooling platforms (Claude Code)
  • Experience leading managers and scaling to multi-team structures
