About the role
Board-certified Nurse Practitioners with multi-state licensure provide virtual comprehensive care to patients of all ages. Requires 3+ years in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care and active multi-state RN/NP licenses. Remote, with two schedule options: Modified Full-Time (32 hours/week) or Part-Time (20 hours/week).
Responsibilities
- Conduct age-appropriate history and virtual exams
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of conditions across the lifespan
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
- Develop and document treatment plans in a timely, accurate manner
- Manage acute, chronic, and mental health conditions for pediatric and adult patients
- Request consultation or referral with other health care providers when appropriate
- Counsel and educate patients and families on treatment plans
- Maintain current knowledge of clinical best practices and evidence-based care
- Provide cross-coverage for tasks such as reviewing lab results
- Offer scheduling flexibility, including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program
- Active NP license with RN licensure in accordance with state requirements
- Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC
- Active RN compact license
- Active multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings
- Experience providing care to newborns through adult populations
- Ability to function within an integrated medical practice
- Strong clinical acumen and ability to manage a broad range of conditions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills
- Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records
- Maintain active Medicare status - in good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from participation in federal health programs
