About the role

Arketa is building an all-in-one platform for modern fitness and wellness businesses, enabling hybrid online/in-person management of schedules, bookings, payments, on-demand content, retreats, and marketing. This role is a hybrid position in Mexico City focusing on Node.js, React/TypeScript, and delivering end-to-end features with customer impact.

Responsibilities

  • Own work end to end from reproducing an issue to shipping the fix
  • Build full product features alongside the engineering team
  • Triage, investigate, and resolve bugs reported by customers and the support team
  • Reproduce, diagnose, fix, validate, and communicate issues
  • Collaborate closely with Support to provide timely updates and clarity on issues
  • Improve system reliability by identifying root causes
  • Maintain high quality standards across testing, edge cases, and regressions
  • Work across Node.js and React/TypeScript stack with teammates in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico
  • Learn the product through a rotational ramp before owning large features

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience as a software engineer
  • Strong written and spoken English fluency
  • Production experience in node.js and react/typescript
  • Experience in fast-moving environment (start-up or small company)
  • AI-tooling proficiency: AI as a force multiplier
  • Eligibility to work out of the Mexico City office
