About the role

Cotera is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer out of the New York office to deploy AI agents for enterprise customers, work with the product and GTM teams, and communicate with customers while solving AI-focused problems.

Responsibilities

  • Working in Cotera daily to help customers and assist the product team
  • Talking to customers and managing relationships; building and shipping agents quickly and communicating/training
  • Running trainings/webinars
  • Writing AI thought pieces for the marketing site

Qualifications

  • Early in your career: 1-3 years out of college (though more seasoned is also fine)
  • Familiar with AI tools (Claude Code, Perplexity, CLI/MCP tools, workflows like Zapier/n8n)
  • Curious and motivated to learn and try different things
  • Technically proficient; experience with AI-assisted coding is a plus
  • Detail oriented; described as a perfectionist with a high standard for work
  • Interest in founders and learning the ins and outs of running a B2B business; comfortable making phone-based customer outreach (at least 3 hours a day)
