About the role

Engineering-focused role at Cotera for a future founder who will build, ship, and iterate on the product with heavy ownership and exposure to how a company is built, including close work with the CEO and GTM.

Responsibilities

  • Building product directly with the engineering team.
  • Working closely with Ibby, our CEO, on high-priority product and customer problems.
  • Turning ambiguous customer needs into shipped features.
  • Prototyping quickly, testing ideas, and iterating based on feedback.
  • Using AI tools aggressively to move faster.
  • Helping us build systems that make customers happy and successful.
  • Sitting close to GTM, customers, and product strategy — not just code.
  • Taking ownership of projects end-to-end, from idea to implementation to impact.

Qualifications

  • Curious and hungry: early in your professional journey, motivated to try different things to learn fast and ship fast.
  • Not afraid: willing to fail and iterate, not deterred by setbacks.
  • Technically strong: capable of turning ambiguous problems into working software and willing to learn to ship.
  • AI-native / AI-curious: adept at using AI tools to code, debug, prototype, analyze, or move faster (5x weighting).
  • Product-minded: cares about user needs, impact, and end-to-end delivery.
  • You want to be a founder: interested in building a company and gaining reps at building something people want.
