About the role

Senior strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing GTM technical and product execution at Databricks, partnering with the SVP of Field Engineering and cross-functional leadership to drive scale, productivity, and technical excellence across a 3,000-person global organization, with a focus on AI-driven efficiency and builder-first culture.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic partner to the SVP, FE to shape the future of this function
  • Define OKRs and metrics to measure performance
  • Partner with leadership to set long-term organizational strategy and ensure cross-functional alignment
  • Design and test innovative operating models (centralization vs. BU accountability) and pilot initiatives
  • Provide inputs on product planning, target setting, and resources to central GTM planning
  • Lead inspection cadence and coordinate across Product, Sales, Operations, FE to resolve issues
  • Surface and address gaps with regional and product teams to improve execution
  • Collaborate with PS and Enablement leaders to shape strategy and scale operations with AI/automation
  • Shape PS and Enablement strategy, resourcing, and hiring strategy
  • Ensure Professional Services and Enablement operations scale with AI and automation
  • Lead with vision, clarity, and tough decision-making in a company-first, cross-functional role
  • Foster AI-driven productivity and innovation across the organization
  • Collaborate across Strategy, Operations, Product, Sales, Finance, People, and other teams
  • Use data and experimentation to identify bottlenecks and optimize performance and growth
  • Promote cross-functional influence and effective prioritization across large, complex orgs

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, or technical leadership in high-growth technology companies
  • Deep technical understanding of field engineering organizations, enterprise solutions, and technology strategy
  • Proven ability to define strategy and execute at scale in complex technical organizations
  • Experience running centralized technical or operational functions and influencing distributed teams
  • Strong perspectives on leveraging AI, automation, and tooling to drive productivity and decision-making
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and influence skills across Product, Sales, Finance, People, and technical teams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and experimental mindset with data-driven iteration
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with internal leaders and external partners
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity, balancing innovation with operational rigor, and driving accountability
