About the role

Physician role delivering Neko's preventive-care model in New York clinics, focusing on preventive medicine through non-invasive screening, patient conversations, and collaboration with care teams to improve member experience and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Consultations that feel like conversations: ask, listen, and explain findings in plain language.
  • Personalized, action-oriented health plans built with the member from screening results.
  • Member education on dermatological and cardiovascular risk factors and lifestyle strategies.
  • Comprehensive preventive health screenings with skin imaging, cardiovascular assessments, and AI-powered decision support.
  • Clinical oversight and escalation support for APPs, serving as supervising or collaborating physician.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Operators, APPs, and care teams to improve continuity of care and member experience.

Qualifications

  • Active New York State medical license.
  • Board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of post-residency experience.
  • Recent outpatient experience (at least a year in the past 5 years).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
