Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable frontend architectures for complex web applications.
  • Build and maintain reusable UI components and design-system integrations that other engineers ship on.
  • Partner with product managers and designers to turn requirements into clean, high-quality experiences.
  • Lead technical design discussions and own architectural decisions within your domain.
  • Optimize for performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and usability across core flows.
  • Set and enforce frontend standards and patterns, and drive their adoption across teams.
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical guidance, and resolve the gnarly production issues.

Qualifications

  • AI-Native: you're already using AI coding agents daily and familiar with modern tooling.
  • Deep Frontend Builder: typically 8+ years in software engineering with strong frontend depth, building modern web apps in JavaScript and TypeScript and maintaining scalable architectures in production.
  • Performance Minded: strong command of performance optimization, testing strategy, accessibility, and web standards with measurable wins.
  • Owner: capable of taking a problem from design through production support and elevating engineering quality.
