About the role

Senior Staff Engineer to drive cross-team technical leadership, influence multiple domains, and lead solution delivery for complex, strategic initiatives. Focus on architecture, security, DevOps, and delivery of resilient NodeJS/Typescript back-end services on AWS, integrating with customers’ business tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead transversal, complex projects, autonomously from ideation to completion
  • Proactively communicate the technical vision across multiple teams
  • Act as a go-to expert, providing mentorship and guidance across teams
  • Deeply understand multiple product domains and advocate for customer needs
  • Lead and define technical strategies for complex problems
  • Set and uphold high quality standards; drive adoption of best practices in architecture, security, and DevOps
  • Write production-ready code; contribute to software design discussions; understand system infrastructure and DevOps principles; apply a security-first mindset

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience (e.g., 10+ years) in back-end development
  • Proficiency in TypeScript & NodeJS (or Python/Ruby/Rails or other languages)
  • Experience delivering for security, scalability, availability, and performance across multiple domains
  • Ability to lead technical strategies and complex projects across multiple teams and domains
  • Strong communication skills and cross-domain collaboration
  • Deep understanding of multiple product domains and long-term planning
