About the role

Senior Mendix Engineer in Munich, hybrid full-time role focused on building and advancing Agents Kit and the Mendix agent building SDK within the Mendix platform, collaborating with early adopter customers and delivering cross-technology full-stack solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build upon an existing foundation, moving at a fast pace as the agentic AI space progresses
  • Work with early adopter customers to build out Agents Kit, an AI portfolio of modules and applications our customers really need
  • Work on a platform with a lasting impact and strategic value, knowing that thousands of developers and millions of end users across the globe rely on your work, and each commit can make a lot of impact
  • Be thorough and get to the bottom of things; clear answers are more important than deadlines
  • Work full-stack across technologies, delivering a Mendix SDK and leveraging TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, CSS, and Java

Qualifications

  • Mendix skills at the level of an Expert Developer with extensive knowledge of Mendix best practices for development
  • Comfortable writing a Java method or custom widget independently
  • Ability to learn new concepts and pick up new technologies based on tasks at hand, excited by the challenge of sophisticated technical problems
  • Take ownership for the quality of your work and the impact it has on others
  • Familiarity with agile frameworks and software development collaboration tools such as Git
  • Willingness to meet colleagues once or twice a week in a modern office in Munich

  • The salary range for this position is €68,900 to €113,800 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
