About the role

Town is an AI-powered assistant that connects to your tools to do real work on your behalf, with a focus on end-to-end product ownership across frontend, backend, and infrastructure in an AI-native workflow environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own features end to end from UI/UX decisions to backend plumbing
  • Design and ship experiences that make the product legible and loved
  • Build across web, desktop, and mobile to meet users where they work
  • Contribute to product direction with strong own-ship across surfaces (email, calendar, notifications, home screen, approvals)
  • Develop AI-native workflows, relationship graphs, and automated scheduling and triage features
  • Collaborate on the workflow builder and team/shared workflow surfaces
  • Work across frontend, backend, and infrastructure as needed in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment

Qualifications

  • Generalist who can move between frontend, backend, and infrastructure
  • Strong product taste and ability to conceptualize the full user experience from pixel to prompt to database schema
  • Experience with AI-native coding workflows and AI-powered products
  • Experience with LLM-powered products, agentic UX, or products with non-determinism as a design constraint
  • Previous shipping experience at a high-growth startup during an inflection point
  • Demonstrated ability to ship product and tell concrete shipping stories
  • Preference for in-person work five days a week
