About the role

Overlap builds AI agents that automate social video. The role owns the full sales cycle for SMB and creator accounts, focusing on prospecting, demos, closing, and defining repeatable sales motion in a high-ownership, outbound-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle for SMB and creator accounts, from prospecting through close
  • Build pipeline, run demos, close deals
  • Help define the repeatable sales motion for one of the fastest-growing categories in media
  • Identify high-potential accounts, write sharp outbound, move prospects quickly, and close revenue

Qualifications

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships, creator partnerships, media partnerships, or a similar customer-facing role
  • Strong written communication and ability to write clear, direct outbound that gets replies
  • Comfort selling to creators, founders, marketers, producers, editors, and operators
  • Strong commercial instincts around budget, urgency, use case, and buyer motivation
  • Ability to learn a technical product and explain it simply
  • Comfort with outbound sales, rejection, and repeated follow-up
  • High ownership, high agency, and low ego
  • Interest in AI, video, social media, creators, podcasts, sports, entertainment, or media
  • Willingness to work in-person in San Francisco
