About the role
Overlap builds AI video agents for media companies. We help teams automatically edit and post the best moments from long-form video and audio. The role is a Product Engineering Intern who ships fast, works with customers, and builds AI agents used in production across product, frontend, backend, and agent layers.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship product features across our web app, backend, and AI workflows
- Create and improve agents for clipping, editing, posting, analysis, and automation
- Fix bugs quickly based on real customer feedback
- Work directly with major media customers to understand their workflows
- Collaborate with the founding team on product design and implementation
- Move fast from idea → prototype → shipped product
Qualifications
- Strong full-stack engineering ability
- Experience building AI agents, LLM tools, or workflow automation
- Great product intuition and attention to detail
- Ability to ship fast without perfect specs
- Comfort talking to customers and translating feedback into product
- High ownership, high agency, and low ego
- Willingness to work in-person in San Francisco
