About the role

Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead technical strategy and architecture for the Provider organization in a remote-first company focused on mental healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Set the technical roadmap for the Provider domain and establish engineering standards.
  • Drive high-impact initiatives spanning all teams within the Provider domain.
  • Provide technical leadership as a principal/lead architect across product domains and engineering groups.
  • Guide planning, specification, execution, and post-launch maintenance of complex systems.
  • Mentor others, review architectures, and establish design patterns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical and product strategy.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional experience in full-stack development of modern database-backed web applications (SQL/NoSQL) and microservices.
  • Proven technical leadership as a principal/lead architect for a major product domain or engineering group.
  • Distributed systems expertise in high-throughput, low-latency environments, microservices, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence engineering direction and product strategy across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience mentoring others, architectural reviews, and establishing design patterns.
