About the role

Staff Software Engineer to lead the Provider Onboarding Engineering team, acting as chief architect to build and scale Provider Onboarding capabilities for pricing, payments, client panel, and forms within a remote-first healthcare-focused company.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the foundational leader of the Provider Onboarding Engineering team within the Provider organization.
  • Act as the chief architect of new scope and drive product-based implementations for Provider Onboarding across internal and external-facing users and workflows.
  • Lead product architecture and operational, process-based solutions; build robust custom tools and leverage industry solutions to improve Provider Onboarding tools.
  • Mentor senior engineers, establish design patterns, review architectures, and drive scalable systems.
  • Oversee all phases of the development lifecycle: planning, scoping, execution, measuring success, and post-launch maintenance.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience
  • 1+ years working on Healthcare or equivalent systems
  • 1+ years experience helping to form a new team from scratch
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical groups
  • Fullstack experience building modern database-backed (SQL/NoSQL) web applications
  • Experience with microservice development
  • Experience mentoring others, reviewing architectures, and establishing design patterns
  • Experience driving all phases of the development lifecycle: planning, specing, execution, and measuring success, post-launch maintenance
  • Experience working on highly complex projects with a focus on achieving sustainable results
