About the role
Staff Forward Deployed Engineer who sits with customer teams to build and ship tools that automate weekly workflows in mental health care, with privacy-by-design and AI-enabled workflow improvements. Remote-first, US-based.
Responsibilities
- Sit with a team, learn how the work actually gets done, and ship tools they use every week.
- Turn six-to-eight-hour tasks into under thirty minutes.
- Stay until the team can run each tool on its own.
- Turn what you learn into building blocks to help the next team move faster.
- Ensure privacy is embedded in design from day one.
Qualifications
- 8+ years shipping production-quality software systems with end-to-end ownership of outcomes.
- Proven track record of shipping tools or products used weekly by customers or business teams, supported by usage telemetry.
- Deep experience learning operational workflows through observation, interviews, or data before designing software solutions.
- Daily use of coding agents with rigorous evaluation practices and privacy-by-design standards (synthetic/masked data, isolating clinical content from operational tools).
