About the role

Manager overseeing Procurement Activation specialists for Ramp's procurement product, leading discovery through go-live for mid-market customers to scale implementations and drive repeatable, high-quality activations.

Responsibilities

  • Run structured 1:1s and coaching that move ICs from reactive to proactive, and from execution to insight
  • Build a team culture where CSMs, AMs, and AEs come to the team first on escalations
  • Build the Procurement Activation playbook from the ground up: define excellent at discovery, configuration, customer education, go-live and codify it for consistent execution
  • Turn implementation patterns into structured product feedback for Engineering and Product
  • Partner with Sales, AM, and CSM leadership to define how procurement deals are handed off, scoped, and resourced
  • Build the implementation process to scale with product growth, and anticipate changes needed as capabilities expand
  • Spot systemic blockers across implementations and drive cross-functional resolution

  • Real people development experience with successful mentoring of ICs; formal tenure not required but impactful examples needed
  • Cross-functional influence without authority; ability to align with AE, CSM, AM, VP and hold position when priorities compete
  • Demonstrated creation of scalable assets (playbook, training program, escalation framework) adopted beyond direct involvement
