About the role

Ventura is hiring founding engineers to build and deploy AI-driven workflow solutions for industrial distributors and manufacturers, starting with quoting and order entry, with visa sponsorship available and in-person SF work location.

Responsibilities

  • Own problems end to end: talk to customers, understand how they work, decide what we should build, and then build it.
  • Work across customer-facing features, AI agents, integrations, and infrastructure.
  • Improve evals, tests, and tooling to make each customer implementation faster and more reliable.
  • Ship features that impact live customers and own meaningful surface areas of the product.

Qualifications

  • Full stack experience: NextJS, TypeScript, Python, Google Cloud
  • Experience building production-ready AI agents: context engineering, tool design, evals
  • Strong customer communication skills: talk directly with customers, ask good questions, root cause problems
  • Ability to ship fast without compromising quality
  • Willingness to stay updated on AI tools and apply judicious engineering judgment
  • Interest in owning end-to-end problems rather than a narrow backlog
  • Eligible for visa sponsorship and relocation to San Francisco
