About the role

Lance builds autonomous AI agents that run hotel operations. This role is a hands-on Software Engineering Intern position based in San Francisco, working directly with founders to ship real features powering AI agents.

Responsibilities

  • Building and improving our computer-use agent infrastructure that lets AI navigate hotel software in real time
  • Developing voice and messaging pipelines that handle guest communication at scale
  • Designing backend systems and APIs that support multi-step task execution across the hospitality tech stack
  • Improving reliability, latency, and observability across our agent platform
  • Collaborating closely with founders to prototype and ship new product features fast

Qualifications

  • Strong CS fundamentals and experience with Python and/or TypeScript
  • Experience building and shipping real software (side projects, internships, research — all count)
  • Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
  • Genuine curiosity about AI agents, LLMs, and what it takes to make them work reliably in production
  • Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco for the duration of the internship
