About the role

Principal PMM responsible for the narrative, strategy, and go-to-market for the agentic execution layer of Gong's platform, targeting technical buyers and enterprise IT/RevOps leaders to define how agentic AI for revenue is governed, orchestrated, and delivered at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical buyer narrative — define positioning and messaging for CIOs and RevOps leaders evaluating enterprise AI infrastructure for revenue.
  • Build the infrastructure conversation — create content, frameworks, and tools illustrating data flows, governance, agent coordination, MCP integrations, audit trails, and the Gong Revenue Graph as the grounding layer.
  • Unify AI and execution into a single story — make the integrated picture compelling to technical buyers who have seen fragmented solutions.
  • Take a portfolio view — make and defend recommendations on packaging and monetization of AI execution capabilities across the platform.
  • Shape product and GTM strategy — provide buyer, competitive, and analyst insights to product planning; develop a POV on enterprise IT and revenue operations adoption and governance of agentic AI.
  • Drive high-impact launches — collaborate across PMM, PM, Enablement, sales, post-sales, comms, and ops to launch initiatives from brief to execution.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of B2B product marketing experience, including at least four years owning the full PMM lifecycle for an AI platform, agentic infrastructure, or complex workflow product at an enterprise SaaS company with a track record marketing to technical buyers.
  • Working knowledge of agentic workflow concepts: triggers, actions, plays, next-best-action, human-in-the-loop governance, MCP integrations, and AI governance/data residency considerations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to distill architectural concepts into credible narratives for both business and technical audiences.
  • Bias toward evidence and action — ability to test positioning with customers, validate with win/loss data, and iterate.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and at pace; ability to decide with incomplete information and adapt as product/market evolve.
  • Experience marketing to RevOps, Sales Operations, or Revenue Leadership personas.
  • Experience making multi-layered systems coherent to enterprise buyers with governance, data permissioning, and agent lifecycle concepts.
  • Prior experience defining or expanding a market category, not just competing in an established one.
  • Experience with analyst relations (Gartner, Forrester) including briefings and influencing Wave/MQ narratives.
  • Comfort with quantitative analysis: win/loss data, pipeline influence metrics, adoption curves, and consumption/credit pricing models.
