Responsibilities

  • System Architecture: Leading the design and implementation of complex, scalable, and high-performance backend services and APIs.
  • Feature Lifecycle: Taking end-to-end ownership of major product initiatives, from initial design to coordinating delivery across Backend, Frontend, and Product teams.
  • Engineering Standards: Establishing and driving team-level best practices for code quality, testing strategies, and CI/CD processes.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in large-scale backend development, with a strong emphasis on Java programming
  • Proven experience in mentoring engineers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues efficiently
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and building scalable microservices architectures
  • Advantageous experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and building data-oriented applications and APIs
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
