About the role
Braintrust is seeking a software engineer to build high performance data processing systems for handling large volumes of unstructured data in real-time, with a focus on core system architecture, storage, indexing, and query execution for Brainstore and btql.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the storage, indexing, and query execution performance of Brainstore.
- Expanding Braintrust's btql query language.
- Optimizing query patterns to improve performance across our platform.
Qualifications
- Expert-level understanding of systems programming (C++ or Rust, concurrency, databases, operating systems)
- Previous experience founding or working at startups is a plus
- Has written prompts / tinkered with GPT models and apps
Skills
