About the role

Role focused on building and owning the data integration and synchronization pipelines that connect Vitalize to hospital systems (EHRs, workforce management, payroll, scheduling). You’ll enable real-time workforce intelligence by integrating disparate systems, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining production-grade integrations in a Series A environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build and operate data pipelines, transformation logic, and synchronization infrastructure connecting Vitalize to external systems (EHRs, WFM, payroll, scheduling).
  • Configure and extend integration connectors forEpic and other EHR platforms via middleware.
  • Develop direct integrations with workforce management systems (UKG, Workday, Kronos, etc.) that scale for large health systems.
  • Reconciling shift, staff, and ADT data from multiple sources at the transform layer, handling conflicts and gaps.
  • Maintain data accuracy in live conditions, detect drift, recover from failures, and prevent inconsistencies from reaching the product or users.

Qualifications

  • Experience owning integrations in production (maintaining and troubleshooting in production environments).
  • Experience with queue-based worker systems and scalable data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of incremental sync designs, schema contracts, and observability to surface failures.
  • Experience with durable cron/workflow pipelines and restart/retry semantics.
  • Ability to instrument and trace production issues; strong debugging and monitoring practices.
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
