About the role
Neko Health is redefining prevention and delivering personalised, preventative care through data-driven insights. The FF+E Design Lead owns the global FF+E strategy for furniture, fixtures, equipment, and accessories, ensuring a scalable, cohesive experience across all Neko locations and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Own development and stewardship of global FF+E strategy (furniture, fixtures, equipment, and accessories) and the Location Design Playbook.
- Define physical objects, materials, and product selections to shape the member experience across all locations.
- Develop FF+E and accessory standards for the Location Design Playbook and drive product development and selection.
- Provide concept-level creative guidance to regional design teams delivering projects globally.
- Collaborate with Architecture Creative Studio Lead and other leads (US, Europe, Industrial Design Lead, Hardware, Operations, Brand, Procurement) to align on standards and procurement.
- Contribute to bespoke FF+E and accessory item development with external vendors and Industrial Design Lead.
Qualifications
- Degree in Interior Design, Product Design, Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in FF+E design, specification, and procurement with a strong portfolio.
- Experience developing FF+E standards, product libraries, or specification playbooks for multi-site/global/scaling organizations.
- Keen eye for colour, material and finishes; understanding of bespoke furniture and manufacturing methods; durability and sustainability considerations.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, sourcing, sampling, cost negotiation, and quality control across multiple markets.
- Strong understanding of ergonomics, accessibility, and product safety/compliance in a commercial retail environment.
- Excellent communication skills; able to articulate design intent to creative and operational audiences and present to leadership.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-growing, evolving environment; aligns with Neko’s studio culture.
