About the role
Senior ERP Project Manager role focused on leading large-scale, enterprise-wide implementation projects for Zip's enterprise software. Responsible for end-to-end project delivery, governance, risk mitigation, and cross-functional stakeholder management across the full project lifecycle, serving as a trusted advisor to senior executives and enterprise PMOs to ensure on-time, in-scope deployments compliant with organizational policies.
Responsibilities
- End-to-End Delivery: Oversee the full implementation lifecycle for complex enterprise customers from initial Planning and Design through Configuration, Testing, Launch, and Hypercare.
- Project Governance: Establish, maintain, and track detailed project plans, schedules, critical paths, and RAID logs to ensure milestone adherence.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Coordinate cross-functional enterprise teams including customer champions, system administrators, business leads (Legal, Security, IT, Procurement), and third-party implementation partners.
- Executive Communication: Establish engagement cadence, facilitate steering committee meetings, and provide regular strategic status updates to sponsors and executives.
- Technical & Integration Oversight: Scope and manage project dependencies around technical validation, identity provider setups (SSO/SCIM), and third-party application or custom ERP integration touchpoints.
- Testing Quality Control: Define entry/exit criteria for testing, oversee SIT, and support UAT lifecycles.
- Launch & Cutover Management: Architect cutover plans, production readiness checklists, data cleanups, and production sync strategies for a smooth go-live.
- Hypercare Stabilizing: Lead post-launch Hypercare, monitor adoption, resolve friction points, and transition to steady-state ownership with Customer Success.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience leading enterprise-wide software deployments as a traditional Project Manager, ERP Project Manager, or PMO Lead.
- Deep understanding of large-scale enterprise financial, ERP, or P2P system implementations (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Workday, Oracle EBS, Coupa).
- Proven track record with rigorous project management methodologies, governance structures, change control, and risk mitigation.
- Exceptional client-facing communication with ability to influence decisions and align executives.
- Strong expertise in testing cycles (SIT/UAT), data migration planning, cutover coordination, and post-launch hypercare.
- PMP, Prince2, or equivalent certification highly preferred.
- Thrives in fast-paced, scaling environments with strong attention to detail and proactive ownership.
