About the role

Experienced ACT tutor needed to guide students preparing for the ACT across English, Math, Reading, and Science. Responsibilities include assessing starting points, creating tailored study plans, teaching core content and test prep strategy, and building student accuracy, pacing, and confidence before test day. Remote contract role with tutors setting their own hours and rates.

Responsibilities

  • Assess each student's starting point.
  • Create a tailored study plan.
  • Teach core ACT content and test prep strategy.
  • Help students build accuracy, pacing, and confidence leading up to test day.
  • Host sessions virtually.
  • Partner with the team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every student.

Qualifications

  • Strong ACT score (typically 90th percentile+).
  • Prior tutoring or teaching experience.
  • Clear, structured approach to breaking down complex problems.
