About the role

Experienced aviation professional to coach students in pilot training, aircraft maintenance, air traffic control, aviation technology, regulations, licensing, certifications, and flight safety standards. Includes guidance on commercial aviation, airline operations, resume/cover letters, LinkedIn, networking, interview prep, salary negotiation, and freelancing. Coaches set their own hours and rates and conduct sessions virtually.

Responsibilities

  • Coach students to build or advance careers in aviation, including pilot training, aircraft maintenance, air traffic control, and aviation technology.
  • Guide students through aviation regulations, licensing and certifications, and flight safety standards.
  • Cover commercial aviation and airline operations topics like crew management and route planning.
  • Provide skill-building, resume and cover letter review, LinkedIn review, networking strategy, interview prep, salary negotiation guidance, and freelancing guidance.
  • Set own hours and rates, host sessions virtually, and collaborate with the team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every student.

Qualifications

  • Significant professional experience in aviation (airline, military, or general aviation)
  • Prior mentoring or teaching experience
  • Clear, structured approach to helping students grow knowledge and career.
