About the role

Experienced construction management professional coaching clients to break into or grow within construction management roles, covering core construction management, planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, contracts, permits, safety, site and vendor management, sustainability, and broader project management. Includes career guidance (resume/LinkedIn/cover letters, interview prep, networking, salary negotiation) and freelancing support. Flexible, remote coaching role with self-set hours and rates.

Responsibilities

  • Teach core construction management, construction planning, and construction scheduling skills
  • Help clients build budgeting and cost control practices
  • Guide clients on contract negotiation, permit management, safety regulations, site management, vendor management, and sustainability in construction
  • Provide broader project management guidance
  • Offer resume review, LinkedIn review, and cover letter guidance
  • Provide interview prep, networking strategy, and salary negotiation coaching
  • Support skill-building and freelancing opportunities
  • Set own hours and rates; host sessions virtually; collaborate with team to deliver quality client experience

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in construction management (as a project manager, site manager, or industry professional)
  • Strong track record of delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Clear, structured coaching approach for technical and career growth
