About the role

Experienced AR/VR professional coaching students to break into or advance in the AR/VR field, covering technical foundations, career development, and interview preparation in a remote contract role.

Responsibilities

  • Coach students across AR/VR development, spatial computing, 3D interaction design, and XR hardware/software.
  • Assist with career development: review resumes and cover letters, refine LinkedIn profiles, prepare for behavioral and technical interviews, provide networking strategy guidance and salary negotiation advice.
  • Set own hours and rates; host sessions virtually; partner with the team to deliver high-quality, supportive experiences for students.

Qualifications

  • Significant hands-on AR/VR development experience (industry, research, or freelance).
  • Prior mentoring or teaching experience.
  • Clear, structured ability to explain complex technical concepts and career strategies.
