About the role

Experienced College Admissions Coach to guide students through the college application process from start to finish, including school exploration, program selection, application strategy, essays, interviews, financial aid, testing, and waitlist planning. Remote contract role with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

  • Help students with general exploration of schools and programs
  • Guide school selection and develop an overall application strategy
  • Assist with essays, secondary review, supplementary materials, and resume building
  • Edit and polish every part of the application
  • Prepare students for interviews
  • Assist with securing strong recommendations
  • Navigate financial aid & scholarships
  • Understand testing & assessments
  • Develop a waitlist strategy when needed

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of the college admissions landscape (e.g., former admissions officer, counselor, or industry professional)
  • Track record of helping students put their best applications forward
  • Clear, structured approach to guiding students through a stressful and high-stakes process
