About the role

Experienced accounting professional to coach students and early-career professionals in core accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial reporting, plus career development guidance and interview prep.

Responsibilities

  • Coach students and early-career professionals to strengthen grasp of core accounting principles, auditing, taxation, and financial reporting.
  • Guide coachees through practical skill-building exercises that mirror real-world work.
  • Support career development by reviewing resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles, and by preparing coachees for behavioral and technical interviews.
  • Provide salary negotiation guidance, networking strategy, and promotion strategy for advancing within firms; advise on freelancing opportunities as relevant.

Qualifications

  • Significant hands-on experience in accounting or finance (public practice, industry, or both).
  • Prior mentoring or coaching experience.
  • Clear, structured approach to explaining technical concepts and career strategy.
