About the role

Experienced acting professional to coach actors at all career stages, from auditions to sustaining a freelance career. Responsibilities include developing acting techniques, character development, script analysis, scene study, cold reading, monologue coaching, improv, performance skills (stage presence, voice, on-camera), and helping students create show reels. Additional support may cover audition prep, interview prep, resume/LinkedIn review, networking strategy, and guidance on agent and salary negotiations for freelancing.

Responsibilities

  • Coach actors at all career stages on acting techniques, character development, and script analysis.
  • Guide practice through scene study, cold reading, monologue coaching, and improv training.
  • Support performance skills including stage presence, voice training, and on-camera training.
  • Help students prepare show reels for casting opportunities.
  • Provide audition preparation, interview prep, resume and LinkedIn review, networking strategy, and guidance on agent and salary negotiations for freelancing.

Qualifications

  • Significant professional acting experience (stage, film, TV, or a combination)
  • Prior coaching or teaching experience
  • Clear, structured approach to helping performers grow their craft and career
