About the role

Experienced biotech and medical device professional coaching students aiming to break into or advance within the industry. Covers biotech strategy, R&D, medical device development and manufacturing, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, risk management, market access, patent strategy, sales, and career readiness (resume/LinkedIn/networking/interviews/salary negotiation/freelancing). Coaches set their own hours and rates and deliver sessions virtually from a remote setup.

Responsibilities

  • Coach students on biotech and medical device strategy, R&D, development, manufacturing, regulatory compliance, QA, and risk management.
  • Guide students through clinical trials and regulatory pathways.
  • Provide guidance on market access strategy, patent strategy, and medical device sales.
  • Assist with skill-building, resume and cover letter review, LinkedIn optimization, networking strategy, interview preparation (behavioral and technical).
  • Offer salary negotiation and freelancing guidance for independent work.
  • Set own hours and rates; host sessions virtually; collaborate with team to ensure high-quality, supportive student experience.

Qualifications

  • Significant professional experience in biotech or medical devices (industry, clinical, or regulatory).
  • Prior mentoring or teaching experience.
  • Clear, structured approach to helping students grow expertise and career.
