About the role

Elastic is expanding the AI Ecosystem Architects team focused on OpenAI and Anthropic, seeking a hands-on technical leader to own the co-build strategy, drive deep integrations, influence product roadmap, and co-create GTM content with OpenAI and Anthropic.

Responsibilities

  • Driving the co-build strategy with Elastic's Product team — identifying and prioritizing integrations that deepen partnerships and ensure Elastic's retrieval, security, and observability capabilities are integrated for enterprise use with OpenAI and Anthropic.
  • Serving as Elastic's technical voice inside both ecosystems — collaborating with partner and product teams at OpenAI and Anthropic to articulate Elasticsearch’s role in agentic workflows.
  • Building reference architectures and working prototypes that demonstrate Elasticsearch as the retrieval layer for agentic AI to guide developers building with OpenAI and Anthropic platforms.
  • Working with Elastic's Security and Observability product teams to drive integration patterns and showcases that illustrate frontier AI-enhanced capabilities.
  • Influencing Elastic's product roadmap with technical signals from ecosystems — understanding partner roadmaps, customer needs, and gaps.
  • Owning technical and strategic relationships with partner-facing counterparts at OpenAI and Anthropic.
  • Being Elastic's named point of contact inside both ecosystems and at Elastic for partner teams to understand fit, possibilities, and next steps.
  • Building and managing regular executive-level cadence to align on progress, priorities, and investment focus.
  • Co-authoring joint solution briefs, technical guides, and co-branded content; representing Elastic at AI-focused events; translating integrations into enablement for the field and customers.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in technical presales, partner engineering, solutions architecture, or product management
  • Proven experience owning technical relationships with strategic AI or platform partners as the named technical point of contact
  • Hands-on experience building prototypes and integration demos to validate ideas with partner and Product teams
  • Track record of influencing product roadmaps and partner priorities
  • Strong communication across audiences (developers and partner engineers)
  • Willingness to travel 30% to partner offices, events, and conferences
