About the role

Senior leadership role leading a pre-sales Solutions Architects team covering the Asean region, guiding design of impactful solutions and driving growth through collaboration and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing, inclusive pre-sales team
  • Foster an environment of belonging, continuous learning, and psychological safety that reflects Databricks’ values of customer focus, teamwork, and diversity
  • Work closely with Sales and other teams to identify opportunities and deliver data-driven, value-focused solutions
  • Establish best practices that improve team efficiency, collaboration, and business impact
  • Build trusted relationships with customers and partners, acting as a strategic advisor in their digital transformation journey
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Services, and other cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Represent Databricks as part of the regional leadership team, contributing to our local presence and inclusive culture

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading or managing technical teams in Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS environments—or equivalent experience gained through hands-on engineering or consulting work
  • A track record of coaching and developing diverse, high-performing teams
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to partner effectively with Sales, Marketing, and other cross-functional leaders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Technical background in Data Engineering, Databases, or Data Science (consulting or customer-facing experience preferred)
  • Enthusiasm for data, AI, and cloud technologies, and the ability to connect these to real business outcomes
