About the role

Campus Recruiter to develop strategy and grow recruiting efforts for interns and new graduates for Research and Machine Learning Research teams in New York. Plan, organize, and execute internship programs; manage day-to-day candidate interactions and collaborate with Recruiting and teams across Jane Street to optimize processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategy and grow recruiting efforts for interns and new graduates for Research and Machine Learning Research teams.
  • Plan, organize, and execute internship programs in the New York office.
  • Deliver excellent day-to-day candidate management while collaborating with Recruiting and teams across Jane Street to improve recruiting efforts.
  • Balance efficiency with empathy for candidates and manage multiple projects and priorities.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional recruiting experience (experience managing a summer internship program strongly preferred)
  • Eager to learn new skills and make an immediate impact
  • Clear communication with colleagues, candidates, and search firms
  • Approachable and humble, willing to ask for help and admit mistakes
  • Self-starter capable of managing several projects simultaneously
  • Curious about operations of the firm and how recruiting fits into the bigger picture
  • No financial industry experience required

Benefits

  • Base salary $200,000 - $300,000. Base salary is part of total compensation including annual discretionary bonus.
