About the role

We’re looking for a software engineer who is passionate about front-end development, user-interface design, and typed functional programming. You would take part in the design and implementation of our next-generation of browser-based tools for operating our trading infrastructure. The role involves working across multiple parts of the stack and collaborating with traders and end-users to understand needs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement browser-based tools for trading infrastructure
  • Develop libraries and abstractions for UI interactions
  • Polish and ship highly usable UIs
  • Work across front-ends, back-ends, middleware, and databases
  • Collaborate with traders and end-users to understand needs

Qualifications

  • Strong background in web technologies including CSS and the DOM
  • Experience with UI frameworks (Vue, Angular, React, Flutter)
  • Practical experience building sophisticated UIs in the browser
  • Interest in typed functional programming (Elm, ReasonML, Purescript, Typescript as a plus)
  • Willingness to work across stack areas (front-end, back-end, middleware, databases)
  • Ability to collaborate with traders and end-users

Skills

Required:Web technologies fundamentals (CSS, DOM)UI frameworks
Nice to have:Typed functional programming
