About the role

Experienced Sales Trader to act as front-facing liaison between Jane Street's sales and trading teams and institutional clients, focusing on ETFs, corporate bonds, and listed derivatives with end-to-end trade execution and strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as front-facing representative of Jane Street to institutional clients
  • Act as liaison between sales and trading teams and clients
  • Facilitate trade execution across ETFs, corporate bonds and listed derivatives throughout the trade lifecycle
  • Provide pre- and post-trade analysis to clients
  • Build and maintain lasting client relationships and partnerships
  • Deliver excellent and enjoyable client experience through trusted execution and communication

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in sales trading, preferably from the sellside covering buyside clients or execution trading on the buyside
  • Demonstrated success in managing and building external relationships, particularly customer relationships
  • Critical thinking skills with ability to implement ideas in a fast-changing environment
  • Motivated, collaborative, and experienced in teaching others and learning new techniques
  • Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized and thorough with a desire for continuous improvement
  • Ability to multi-task and coordinate with colleagues
  • Experience covering a broad client base; institutional coverage is a plus
  • Fluent in English; other Asian languages (e.g., Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, Thai) a plus
