About the role

Senior leadership role overseeing Workplace Services and Experience across APAC (Hong Kong and Singapore), focusing on vision, people leadership, regional coordination, vendor management, and ensuring a cohesive Jane Street experience across APAC with global alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Setting the strategic direction for our Workplace Services and Experience team across Hong Kong, Singapore and the APAC footprint, in partnership with global WS leadership
  • Building, mentoring and motivating a multi-office team spanning Operations, Food and Front of House
  • Acting as the primary conduit between APAC WS teams and London/New York counterparts for alignment and knowledge-sharing
  • Leading vendor strategy across the region: sourcing, selecting, and managing third-party providers (catering, cleaning and others) to deliver service and value
  • Supporting the build-out and opening of new APAC spaces, partnering with Engineering, IT and other internal teams
  • Owning regional WS budgets and using financial data to inform operational decisions
  • Championing Jane Street’s culture and ensuring staff and visitors feel welcome and supported
  • Anticipating and resolving workplace issues proactively and shaping WS evolution as APAC operations grow
  • Regular travel between APAC offices with potential extended stays in New York and London in the first year

Qualifications

  • Significantly experienced leading workplace services, hospitality, office management or related function (ideally across multiple sites/markets)
  • Strong people manager: experience building, developing and motivating teams; comfortable leading through other managers; capable of guiding across cultural contexts
  • Strategic thinker with vision: ability to set direction, prioritize, and convert ideas into operational reality
  • Track record of building strategic vendor partnerships with strong financial acumen
  • Natural collaborator and strong communicator with ability to translate between local context and global priorities
  • Comfortable in a flat, fast-moving environment with ambiguity and change
  • Familiarity with the APAC market and existing regional network is a plus
  • Fluent in English; additional regional languages (Cantonese, Mandarin) a plus
