About the role

We are looking for technically adept individuals to join the Trading Desk Operations (TDOE) team in Hong Kong. TDOEs build and maintain desk infrastructure to support trading across multiple venues and countries, interfacing with traders, developers, clearing firms, and external counterparties. Hands-on role focused on tooling, infrastructure, and operational processes to enable efficient trading.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and optimizing infrastructure and operational processes
  • Supporting trading systems and workflows by executing data queries and coordinating with stakeholders
  • Designing and implementing solutions for trading and operational issues on the desk
  • Communicating with clearing firms and external counterparties to settle and clear trades

Qualifications

  • Strong technical foundation with interest in expanding programming skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively to reach solutions
  • Agile and adaptive problem solver
  • Willingness to learn and ask questions; humble about knowledge gaps
  • Reliable team player with a 'no job too small' attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in finance and passion for STEM
  • Fluent in English
