About the role

We’re seeking an IT Operations Engineer to support, configure and maintain multiple systems across all of our technology stacks, including desktop environments, network infrastructure and various application platforms. You will help build and maintain the infrastructure that powers trading operations, respond to tech support requests, configure laptops/desktops/servers, support Windows domain infrastructure, monitor critical systems, and design automations to streamline tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Support, configure and maintain multiple systems across technology stacks (desktop environments, network infrastructure, application platforms)
  • Build and maintain infrastructure for trading operations
  • Respond to tech support requests
  • Build, configure and support Windows, Linux and macOS laptops, desktops and servers
  • Support Windows domain infrastructure
  • Monitor critical systems
  • Help with projects to optimize workflows
  • Design, build and maintain automations with code to streamline recurring IT support tasks
  • Collaborate with globally distributed IT Operations team and end users

Qualifications

  • Passion for helping end users and solving technical problems
  • Strong experience administering Windows desktop and server environments in production, including Active Directory, Group Policy and related tooling
  • Experience troubleshooting MDM for iOS, macOS and Android devices on platforms such as Omnissa Workspace ONE or Jamf
  • Experience with—or interest in—supporting and optimizing platforms/tools such as Chocolatey, Google Workspace and Bloomberg
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and end-user support
  • Scripting skills for Windows (PowerShell) or Linux (Bash or Python) are a plus
  • Fluent in English; ability to speak Cantonese or Mandarin preferred
