About the role

We are looking to hire a talented engineer to help run our internal Windows infrastructure. The role focuses on improving, automating, and standardizing the Windows environment, with scripting/programming in PowerShell, Python, or C#. The position involves collaboration across a global IT Engineering team to deploy, resolve issues, and document results.

Responsibilities

  • Help run and maintain internal Windows infrastructure.
  • Improve, automate, and standardize Windows environment.
  • Develop and maintain scripts in PowerShell, Python, or C#; scripts are centrally managed and used across the firm.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to plan deployments, resolve issues, and document results.

Qualifications

  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11 or Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
  • Experience with automating deployment, configuration, and monitoring using PowerShell (or Python, C#).
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Kerberos, DNS, and Group Policy.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Windows operating systems and applications.
  • Experience with hardware monitoring and performance tuning in physical or virtual environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear communication and customer service skills; collaborative approach.
