About the role

Clinical leadership role overseeing maternal and pediatric health programs, providing clinical authority, program design, and scalable operations across maternal and pediatric care for Included Health.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and program oversight of maternity, newborn, NICU, and pediatric clinicians
  • Serve as the clinical escalation point, coordinating with clinical leadership and other SMEs for clinical resolution
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical standards, evidence-based care pathways, and educational materials across maternal and pediatric health programs
  • Directly supervise and/or provide clinical oversight to APPs
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to develop clinical requirements, and inform clinical tooling and product features
  • Use clinical insight, performance data, and population-level trends to identify care gaps and inform program improvement priorities
  • Contribute to the design and evolution of maternal and pediatric programs to improve quality, outcomes, and scalability
  • Manage clinicians against clear performance expectations (productivity, documentation, clinical quality, safety)
  • Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and feedback
  • Establish clinical and operational expectations for the team, including team huddles and continuing education
  • Use data and dashboards to monitor performance and identify gaps
  • Coach and develop clinicians and support career pathways
  • Collaborate with Practice Ops and Credentialing for onboarding, training, credentialing, and licensing
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to coordinate care for multi-specialty needs
  • Represent maternal and pediatric health in cross-functional initiatives and strategic planning
  • Inform population health initiatives and scalable care models for maternal and pediatric populations
  • Serve as population health program leader with focus on maternal and pediatric outcomes
  • Provide clinical authority across maternal and pediatric care/case management programs and oversight of clinical standards and care pathways
  • Ensure alignment with Included Health’s broader population health strategy
  • Translate organizational priorities into clinical operations and outcomes
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to inform population health priorities and program performance

Qualifications

  • Education: Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Clinical Experience: Board certified in family medicine, med-peds, or related specialty; minimum 5 years post-residency clinical experience caring for prenatal, postpartum, and pediatric patients in a generalist setting
  • Licensure: Active medical license in good standing in state of residence; willingness to become licensed in additional states
  • Operations and Performance: Experience leading clinicians in performance-driven environment with use of quality, productivity, and operational metrics
